Wedding planning can be a bit overwhelming. We talk about this a lot in our book "Dear Bride: You're not alone" In today's market many brides feel as if they can do it alone and some can. However; life is happening there is school, work , family and many more distractions. Planning a wedding can easily take a back seat. Having a coordinator means having someone to represent you even during lifes' distractions and requirements. Not to mention planning a wedding should be a fun and exciting time for you and your family. Having a coordinator can help you accomplish this task and guide you to enjoying and having a stress -free wedding experience!
For starters, we have nearly 13 years combined experience planning events. Cemone has a degree in Hospitality Studies, and teaches events/wedding planning at Miami Dade College. Cemone has worked in hotels, destination management companies, non -profits, fashion and venue operations. In addition, Cemone is a certified event and wedding planner with Longevity.
Also, for continuing education Cemone and her team every year attends a professional wedding and special event association meetings - conferences, gaining education and knowledge about current industry trends.
Typically, Catering Managers at hotels or venues have the job of overseeing the wedding details that are directly related to the venue (and sometimes the food and beverage as well). It is not in their job description to confirm your vendors, run your rehearsal, oversee the vendors on your wedding day, cue you down the aisle at your ceremony, and make sure all of the day’s events are running according to schedule. As professional Wedding Coordinators, our services supplement the services offered by your Catering Manager, Banquet Manager & Staff, and other vendors.
So that we can better serve you first thing is first. We're going to schedule a phone consultation with you to see where you are in your planning. From there we will be better able to direct you to which service is best for you.
Yes, we can! In fact, about half of our clients do not live in South Florida– they live all over the world. We are very comfortable with out-of-city/state/country clients and communicating via phone, e-mail, FaceTime, and Whatsapp.
Each planner of Out of Box Weddings typically plans 20 weddings per year. Each wedding is different, we have a balance of weddings ranging from 50 to 250 people not to mention the multi services each client selects; such as decor only, day of coordination, full coordination, online planning or day of planning. Some weeks and months are more busy than other BUT we never put more than one wedding per day, per planner.
With over 13 years in the business we've learned a thing or two. We've met many amazing planners and what makes us unique is our ability to think "outside the box" when it comes to each individual couple. No wedding should be the same, it's our goal to harness the individuality in each couple and guide them to have an amazing and unique wedding experience.
We've worked with many vendors and have had many different experiences. As a result we've learned how to match clients and vendors - Not to mention we only recommend vendors who are professionals and have their liability insurances.
We're not here to take over your wedding. We're here to make sure your wedding day is seamless and in order. We're your guide through the process. We won't do anything that you haven't approved of.
We work with you to make sure your wedding day is stress -free. It's nothing more disappointing that an unhappy couple. We work with all vendors whether or not we have recommended them. Our goal is not to take advantage BUT to make sure all clients are happy and enjoying themselves.
